You'll find that it's easier than ever to send messages to contacts on your phone or those you have online with Google Allo. You will need to verify your phone number and set your country of residence. There is an option to change the country later on so that you can talk to people in other parts of the world. This app isn't like traditional messaging apps that you have on your phone or computer. It allows you to do a bit more in the way of chatting, playing games and even drawing on the messages that you send.

You can share everything from pictures to videos with Google Allo. Change your status to invisible so that no one sees you online, allowing you to talk to only the people you want to talk to without any interruptions. There will be no traces of the conversation after you stop talking. You can also be involved in a group chat with several people who are online at the same time as you. There is a personal assistant with the app that lets you ask questions, such as information about your destination or what the weather will be like in the area.

  • RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting. If you don't request this permission, you will not receive the broadcast at that time. Though holding this permission does not have any security implications, it can have a negative impact on the user experience by increasing the amount of time it takes the system to start and allowing applications to have themselves running without the user being aware of them. As such, you must explicitly declare your use of this facility to make that visible to the user.
